Policies & responsibilities

Cookies and tracking

The production notice must follow the technologies actually deployed—not a generic tracker list.

01Plain-language scope

What this policy covers and where separate customer terms apply.

02Human control

Approvals and responsibilities stay visible throughout the workflow.

03Clear operating boundaries

Responsibilities, dependencies and limitations stay explicit.

Current local preview

The local preview is not represented as running advertising pixels or optional analytics. It may use only browser behavior necessary to render and test the local experience.

Production inventory

Before optional tracking is introduced, Building Bots must inventory cookies, local/session storage, pixels, SDKs and similar technologies, including vendor, purpose, category, duration and processing location.

Necessary and optional technologies

Necessary technologies may support security, navigation, accessibility, sessions or saved consent. Where consent is required, optional analytics or advertising technologies should remain inactive until chosen, refusal should be as easy as acceptance, and choices should be revisable.

Browser controls

Browser deletion or blocking can affect stored settings. Browser controls do not replace a required consent control for optional production tracking.

Operational details pending confirmation

Production scan; analytics/advertising decision; consent tool; regional rules; cookie durations; and consent evidence retention.
